At 11.00am on Sunday 13 November 2022, 104 years on from the signing of the Armistice in 1918, Dover will remember all the servicemen and women who have given their lives in the service of their country.
A parade of standards, veterans and other organisations will assemble outside the B&M Store in Biggin Street at 10.30am and march to the War Memorial in front of Maison Dieu House where two minutes silence will be observed at 11.00am. The Memorial Service will be conducted by Reverend Catherine Tucker and will be followed by the laying of wreaths. The parade will then march back through the town to the Market Square. Councillor Gordon Cowan, the Right Worshipful Town Mayor of Dover will take the salute at St. Mary’s Church.

Priory Road will be closed temporarily from the roundabout to the Ladywell traffic lights while the service is in progress.
The Royal British Legion Memorial Crosses will be in place from now until 25th November 2022, along with the wreaths from the day of the Service. Anybody wishing to collect their wreath will be able to do so or they will be re-cycled.
