Mae Pwyllgor Dinesig ac Prosiectau Arbennig y Cyngor wedi camu i'r adwy i ateb yr apêl am arian i atgyweirio'r bws mini sy'n perthyn i'r lleol 354 (Dover) Corfflu Hyfforddi Awyr. A massive unexpected repair bill of £2,200 had meant the bus was off the road and youngsters had already missed out on trips and training. Many members come from families who don’t have the money to pay for transport and benefit hugely from the activities and opportunities the Corps gives to complete qualifications including BTECs in Aviation and Personal Studies and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Yn ychwanegol, Roedd grwpiau lleol eraill yn colli allan wrth i'r ATC roi benthyg y bws allan pan nad ydyn nhw'n ei ddefnyddio eu hunain.
The Committee heard how Corps members had raised £430 themselves by bag packing at a local supermarket and through donations towards the repairs and voted a grant of £1,770 to allow the repairs to go ahead and get the bus back on the road.
Mae ein llun yn dangos maer y dref, Cynghorydd Sue Jones gydag aelod corfflu yn ei noson gyflwyno ddiweddar.
