Prysur o'r dechrau i'r diwedd! – Tower Hamlets Forum Community Engagement Day 19 Chwefror

It was busy from the get-go – the Tower Hamlets Forum Community Engagement Day at The Ark was full of local families finding out more about their local communities and meeting their neighbours. Children had loads to keep them occupied and having fun. The Bug Man was there with his creepy-crawlies (not for the easily scared!), the face painting team never stopped and the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership and Kent Wildlife Trust had lots of information and activities about our wonderful local natural environment.

The day brought together Councils, other statutory bodies and local voluntary groups. Help and information was on hand on a huge range of issues from organisations including Dover Community Wardens, Fire and Rescue, the NHS, Lifeline, Masnach Deg, Transition Dover, Waste Community Engagement, Dover Big Local and others.

The day was supported by a Town Council Ward Grant from Tower Hamlets Councillors Pam Brivio and Tui Sancha. Pam and Tui were both there during the day listening to local people and learning more about the things that concerned them.

Pam commented afterwards

“It was great to see people of all ages come along the well-attended Tower hamlets Forum CED; lots of positive comments including “really good, lots of organisations and children’s activities; kids loved the bug man, lovely time, felt welcomed”

"Cefais ddiwrnod hyfryd cwrdd â llawer o wahanol bobl, Rwy'n teimlo ymgysylltu'n fwy ac yn cael gwell dealltwriaeth o'r gymuned Tower Hamlets. Rwyf hefyd yn bwyta cacen a got i eistedd mewn Injan Dân, a good all-round fun family day.”
