It was busy from the get-go – the Tower Hamlets Forum Community Engagement Day at The Ark was full of local families finding out more about their local communities and meeting their neighbours. Children had loads to keep them occupied and having fun. The Bug Man was there with his creepy-crawlies (not for the easily scared!), the face painting team never stopped and the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership and Kent Wildlife Trust had lots of information and activities about our wonderful local natural environment.
The day brought together Councils, other statutory bodies and local voluntary groups. Help and information was on hand on a huge range of issues from organisations including Dover Community Wardens, Fire and Rescue, the NHS, Lifeline, Sprawiedliwy handel, Transition Dover, Waste Community Engagement, Dover Big Local and others.
Dzień był wspierany przez Urząd Miasta Ward Grant z Tower Hamlets Radni Pam Brivio i Tui Sancha. Pam i Tui były tam w ciągu dnia słuchania lokalnych ludzi i dowiedzieć się więcej o tym, co ich odnośnych.
Pam skomentował później –
„Wspaniale było zobaczyć ludzi w każdym wieku przyjść dobrze uczestniczyli Tower Hamlets Forum CED; wiele pozytywnych komentarzy w tym naprawdę dobry”, wiele organizacji i działania dzieci; Dzieci uwielbiały błędu człowieka, miły czas, czuliśmy się mile widziani”

I Tui zgodził mówiąc: –
„Miałem wspaniały dzień spełnienia wielu różnych ludzi, Czuję się bardziej zaangażowani i mają lepsze zrozumienie społeczności Tower Hamlets. Ja też zjadł ciastko i mam siedzieć w Fire Engine, a good all-round fun family day.”
