V 11.00 na Remembrance neděli Dover mužů, women and children gathered at the People of Dover’s War Memorial to honour the memory of all the service men and women who gave their lives in armed conflicts past and present. Přes 50 wreaths were laid during the service, covering the memorial in red poppies, as a token of the Town’s thanks for the sacrifices made to secure our peace and freedom.
Průvod norem, veteránů a dalších organizací došla k památníku války před Maison Dieu domu, kde byla dvě minuty ticha pozorované s občanští vůdcové. The wreath laying was led by the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, The Lord Northbourne, on behalf of His Majesty the King, následované starosty města Dover, Radní Susan Jones, the Chairperson of Dover District Council, Cllr Gordon Cowan and Member of Parliament for Dover and Deal Mrs. Natalie Elphicke. Wreaths were then laid by representatives of the uniformed services and veterans associations. Everyone was welcome to pay their tribute including local organisations and the families of the fallen.

We are also grateful for the oration by Nick Chatwin Rn(RTD), Parade Marshal Mr Alan Tinker of the Dover and Deal Sea Cadets, Panu Johnu Harknettovi z Royal Green Jackets Association za to, že hrál na posledním postu a reveille, Betteshanger Colliery Welfare Band a Cantium Brass Band za vedení hudby, standardní nositelé, a mladí lidé z našich kadetů, kteří se bohoslužby zúčastnili a jednali jako strážci.
Vzpomínkovou bohoslužbu sloužila reverendka Catherine Tucker Team Rector pro Dover Town Team Ministry a Flt.. lt. Malcom Sawyer, RAFVR (RTD), Kaplan na Royal Britské legie (Dover).
Bohoslužba byla zakončena jednou slokou státní hymny.
Přehlídka pak pochodoval zpět přes město na náměstí, kde se starosta vzal pozdrav v St. Kostel Marie.
