We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Terry Sutton who passed on the 3rd February 2024 at approximately 3.30pm. Terry was an Honorary Freeman of Dover and one of the founding members of The Dover Society a well-known and well-respected figure in Dover. Terry was known locally as “Mr Dover” because of his vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the town, as a local historian and also covering events in the area as a journalist for many years. Terry was also a published author, his most celebrated work being autobiography “Mr Dover Reporting”, published in 2008. Our sincere condolences go to Terry’s family and friends at this difficult time.
