Terdapat sedikit lagi cahaya matahari Paskah di Dover sebagai 161 isi rumah tempatan yang dicalonkan oleh sekolah dan ketua masyarakat menikmati telur coklat bersama-sama dengan hidangan kegemaran mereka sendiri menggunakan baucar pasar raya yang disediakan sebagai sebahagian daripada projek Paskah Majlis. Following on from a similar successful scheme at Christmas the Council has worked to give a special boost to households including children that would otherwise have “fallen through the net”. Councillors pulled together using their Ward Grant budgets and the Mayor, Majlis Gordon Cowan, stepped in with a pledge from savings in his own civic budgets to find over £2000 to support the project.
