Det finns fortfarande tid att putsa dina stövlar och kliva ut på vita klippor Walking Festival som löper från 22-28 augusti med promenader som passar alla åldrar, intressen och förmågor. Du kan följa linjen Dover förlorade medeltida stadsmuren, utforska den blomstrande historia Dover genom sina majs kvarnar, pappersbruk och banker, – eller bara planerar att njuta av en promenad med lite tårta, ice cream or fish and chips. The White Cliffs Panoramic trail takes place over three days from Friday to Sunday – you can join for as much or little as you wish but those who complete all the stages will be awarded a certificate signed by the Dover Mayor, Councilloren Gordon Cowan. The Town Council funded the Festival with a £500 grant earlier in the year.
