Dover Mayor Councillor Sue Jones joined forces with local charity Dover smART to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Dover Outreach Centre. Sue welcomed guests to cakes and coffee during the regular Tuesday “The Art of Age” meeting on 19ke- Februari. The Group is especially for the elderly including those living with dementia and their carers and meets every week to enjoy making art and having fun together.

Saya sangat berterima kasih kepada Smart Gallery untuk menjadi tuan rumah pagi kopi sebagai sebahagian daripada mesyuarat mingguan mereka. Ia adalah satu acara yang sangat menyeronokkan dan menimbulkan jumlah wang yang hebat untuk Charities Datuk Bandar.
Dover SMART ditubuhkan pada 2013 dan menyokong orang-orang tempatan melalui projek-projek seni dan kreatif, membina aspirasi dan memupuk kesejahteraan. Mereka kini bekerja dengan;pengasuh muda dan keluarga mereka, kumpulan sekolah, orang yang hidup dengan demensia, pesakit hospis dan keluarga mereka, people without a home and people who are coping with mental health issues and social isolation.
