Dover Mayor Councillor Sue Jones joined forces with local charity Dover smART to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Dover Outreach Centre. Sue welcomed guests to cakes and coffee during the regular Tuesday “The Art of Age” meeting on 19º febrero. The Group is especially for the elderly including those living with dementia and their carers and meets every week to enjoy making art and having fun together.

Estoy muy agradecido a la Galería inteligente para acoger el café de la mañana como parte de su reunión semanal. Fue un evento muy agradable y levantó una suma fabulosa para Caridades del Alcalde.
Dover Smart fue fundada en 2013 y apoya a la población local a través de proyectos de arte y creativos, la construcción de aspiraciones y nutrir el bienestar. Actualmente trabajan con;cuidadores jóvenes y sus familias, grupos escolares, las personas que viven con demencia, pacientes de cuidados paliativos y sus familias, people without a home and people who are coping with mental health issues and social isolation.
