Dover juhlii joulua tyylikkäästi tänä vuonna 28-metrisellä korkealla puulla Kauppatorilla 6000 sinisen ja kirkkaan valkoiset valot, joiden päällä on erityinen juhlatähti. Puuta ympäröi yli 60 suuret lumihiutaleet, jotka sopivat sinivalkoisiksi, levitetään koko kaupungin keskustaan Ylä- ja alaosassa Biggin St ja Cannon St. At the Town Council offices at Maison Dieu House there are 11 mistletoe stars beautifully lighting up the nearby tree. Modern Christmas decorations move with the times and we have projectors in the Market Square and outside Maison Dieu House making magical light patterns with dancing snowflakes.
The lights come on as it gets dark each day at 3.30pm in the afternoon and are switched off at 10.30pm and you can enjoy them every day until 4th Tammikuu. Local businesses and Dover High Street need your support especially now, but please act responsibly and in line with all the relevant covid-19 restrictions.
