Congratulations to everyone involved in the fabulous success of Dover’s first Dover Pride event on Saturday 31st August celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Mayor Councillor Gordon Cowan led the Parade from the Market Square to the Town Hall during the morning and opened the entertainment at the Town Hall. The Town Hall was packed to capacity and the fun spilled out into the surrounding area with buildings displaying the Rainbow flag and a Pride Café at the Biggin Hall.
De gemeenteraad zet in £ 1.500 en gratis gebruik van het stadhuis om te helpen het evenement van de grond en de plaatselijke bevolking kwamen samen om decoraties en banners te maken en het plan van de hele prachtige dag.
