Congratulations to everyone involved in the fabulous success of Dover’s first Dover Pride event on Saturday 31ST August celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. 市长议员戈登·考恩 (Gordon Cowan) 上午带领游行队伍从集市广场前往市政厅，并为市政厅的娱乐活动揭幕. The Town Hall was packed to capacity and the fun spilled out into the surrounding area with buildings displaying the Rainbow flag and a Pride Café at the Biggin Hall.
The Town Council put in £1,500 and free use of the Town Hall to help get the event off the ground and local people came together to make decorations and banners and plan the whole wonderful day.
