Congratulations to everyone involved in the fabulous success of Dover’s first Dover Pride event on Saturday 31st August celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Mayor Councillor Gordon Cowan led the Parade from the Market Square to the Town Hall during the morning and opened the entertainment at the Town Hall. The Town Hall was packed to capacity and the fun spilled out into the surrounding area with buildings displaying the Rainbow flag and a Pride Café at the Biggin Hall.
Die Stadtverwaltung legte in £ 1.500 und die kostenfreie Nutzung des Rathauses zu helfen, die Veranstaltung aus dem Boden und Menschen vor Ort zu bekommen kam zusammen Dekorationen und Banner zu machen und den ganzen wundervollen Tages plant.
