Anugerah geran Majlis Bandaran Dover sebanyak £1,000 telah membolehkan Teater Belia Dover melancarkan NEW HORIZONS Bengkel Kesenian dan Filem percuma selama seminggu di bandar Ogos ini yang memuncak dengan persembahan percuma kepada orang ramai pada hari Khamis 24 Ogos jam 7.30 malam di Dewan Perbandaran Dover.
Pengarah Filem pemenang anugerah antarabangsa Jan Dunn, Editor Tony Currell, West-End Musical Director Barney Ashworth (Mrs Henderson Presents, Sunny Afternoon, The Lion King) will join DYT Artistic Director Marie Kelly-Thomas, Director and Playwright Michael Thomas and Choreographer Tamzin Dunstone. Together they will work with participants aged 10-20 on scenes from West-End plays and shows and create short films.
Meanwhile Deputy Mayor Councillor Roger Walkden and Deputy Mayoress Councillor Ann Jenner presented the Mayor of Dover’s Junior Dance award to Eva-Marie Yarrow and Senior Dance Award to Billy Baldwin during their end of term performance at the Roundhouse Theatre. Congratulations to Eva-Marie and Billy and all the young people who have worked so hard and achieved such a high standard of performance excellence.
