Dover Fair Trade Town Network ondersteund door de gemeenteraad vierde deze week de vernieuwing van de eerlijke handelsstatus van de stad. Dover is sindsdien een eerlijke handelsstad 2009. Local People enjoyed Fair Trade refreshments while learning more about Fair Trade sustainability and environmental issues from speaker Lynette Aitken. The event was also attended by Mayor’s from Deal, Sandwich and Folkestone in additions to our own Dover Town Mayor, Raadslid Neil Rix. Councillor Pam Brivio, a member of the Network hopes that this will be the start of growing a Fair Trade District.
