Odpočítavať na Vianoce v Doveri 2019 vystúpil na báječný začiatok v sobotu 30. novembra sa osláv v Rynku celé popoludnie, ktoré viedli k veľkej vianočnej svetlo sa zapne v 5pm.
Mladí ľudia z Dover školách bavil davy s pomocou Roadshow a - nový a jedinečný Dover tento rok - niektoré Bollywood Dancers! Dover Silver Screen Cinema continued the Bollywood theme with 2 showings of the Jungle Book.
Thanks to sponsorship from Dover Town Team there was a chance to fly through the air as The Snowman in a special Christmas simulator ride. Just as popular was the other free festive entertainment including Christmas Crazy Golf, the Xmas Escape Room, and the Mini-Carousel and Chair-o-planes specially for little ones!
Father Christmas visited with his sleigh courtesy of Dover Rotary, and Big Local and Dover smART gave a chance for everyone to warm up at their indoor craft workshops.
The prize for the biggest Christmas visitor went to the 30-foot-long re-cycled plastic whale brought by Transition Dover.
The Market Square was packed all afternoon and the party ended with the traditional countdown to the Christmas Switch-On – with 6000 lights on the bigger than ever Dover Town Tree and bright white snowflakes all along the High Street.
