72% of young people in Dover want access to free cinema

In their recent Dover Youth Survey with 500 中学生, Future Foundry发现年轻人最喜欢的活动是看电影, 和 72% 的参与者表示他们想观看免费电影. 作为回应, Future Foundry are launching their own Film Club to offer free film screenings to young people aged 14 至 19 and help foster a community of movie makers here in the town.

The Future Foundry Film Club will be led by filmmaker and Dover resident, Ed Webb-Ingall, (senior lecturer at the University of Arts, London). Film Club participants are invited to bring their own films and videosincluding TikTok videosto be shown at the club and the first free film screening will be The Movie Makers by Anna Raczynski, looking at intergenerational community filmmaking. The club will be a friendly, supportive space for young filmmakers to discuss, share, collaborate, learn new skills and work on their own films. No experience or skills are needed to attend.
