Dovera atcerējās 193 Pasažieri un apkalpe, kas zaudēja dzīvību, kad brīvā uzņēmuma sludinājums nogrima ārpus Zeebrugge 30 Pirms gadiem naktī 6 Marts 1987 at an anniversary service at St Mary’s Church in the Town. The tragedy changed the Town forever as almost everyone in our community had family members and friends who were part of the sea-faring community. There remains a deep and abiding sadness for all whose lives were cut short and for those who continue to suffer.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Dover, Councillor and Mrs Neil Rix attended the church service in Dover. On the previous day the Mayor attended the commemorations held in Zeebrugge. Nīls teica
