Es gibt knapp zwei Wochen bis zum spektakulären Christmas Lights Dover Stadtverwaltung Switch On!
Samstag 5 December marks the start of the holiday season with fun for the whole family as Biggin Street to Market Square is transformed into a winter wonderland of stalls, entertainment, and holiday cheer. Supported by the Dover Town Team and the Healthy High Street Initiative, this year’s Switch On promises to be bigger and better than ever, kicking off at 10 am with the Christmas Workshop in the former Claire’s Accessories store on Biggin Street. There will be a climbing wall and smaller boulder wall for the little ones by the Prince Albert Public House from 10 bin. A variety of performances will be showcased on the main stage from 12: 30 in the Market Square, lots of interesting stalls throughout the town, and various activities and performers all day long. The Real Reindeer sind zurück in der Nähe Marktplatz und in diesem Jahr die Newfoundland Splashpals wird mit uns durch den Nachmittag in der Market Street mit ihren Weihnachts Kutschen sein. Santa kommt in seiner Grotte auf dem Marktplatz direkt nach 12: 30.
Von 4: 50 die Stadt Bürgermeister von Dover und die Mitglieder der Casts der Dover Theaterweihnachts Pantomimen, (DODS) Die schöne und das Biest, ( Blackfish) Dornröschen und (Dover Youth Theatre) Sankt in Peril, treten der Dover Community Radio Roadshow, immer bereit, auf die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung auf den Schlag drehen 5.
