A fitter and better 2020 – Get out and about in Dover with our White Cliffs Countryside Partnership!

White Cliffs Countryside Partnership was set up to help conserve and enhance the special coast and country

The coast and countryside of Dover is world class for wildlife and history. The White Cliffs are world famous and for centuries have been the gateway to and from England.

The White Cliffs Countryside Partnership was established in 1989 to develop sustainable tourism that helps to preserve the environment and local distinctiveness of the area, both for local people and visitors alike.

I mange år WCCP har formået byrådet offentlige adgang land ved High Meadow for alle at nyde. There are plenty of activities and events locally in Dover for all ages.

Vil du vide mere og blive involveret? Pick up a copy of the WCCP programme and choose from talks and workshops at Samphire Hoe, praktisk bevarelse arbejde på den vestlige højder og Whinless Down, og guidede ture gennem landskabet og naturlige miljø i og omkring byen.

Under halv sigt (lørdag 15 Februar til søndag 23 februar) there is a fabulous special “Green Gang” programme of activities for children and families.

Hard copies of the programmes and full details are available at local libraries, Visitor Information Centres and the Dover Town Council offices or log onto the WCCP website at www.whitecliffscountryside.org.uk
