“Tabula” skulptūra ir atpakaļ pilsētā Charlton Green.
“Galds” tika uzcelts vecajā šķirošanas birojā Charlton Green. Sverot apmēram 5 tonnas un mērīšana 4 metri pāri, Tas ir būvēts no kokmateriāliem, kas reģenerēti no Britannia kroga un Buckland Paper Mill, un to uzcēla mākslinieki Entonijs Heidvuds un Uwe Derksen, Ar vietējo studentu palīdzību, jaunieši un ilgtermiņa bezdarbnieki no Doveras.
Tas tika parādīts Doverā tirgus laukumā kā daļa no Londonas 2012 Olimpiāde “Viens gads, lai dotos svinības” 2011 un daļu, ko finansē pilsētas dome, kas arī ir finansējusi savu atgriešanos pilsētā.
“Tabula” ir miera simbols, Iedvesmojoties no Brancusi klusuma galda, kas bija daļa no skulpturāla ansambļa, kas celts kā kara miera piemiņas vieta Turgu Jui Rumānijā 1937. Tas ir paredzēts, lai veicinātu pārdomu un sarunu un nodrošinātu vietu stāstīšanai un citiem pasākumiem ar sabiedrību.

A bit of Dover’s history coming back.
Artist Anthony Heywood was pleased to see the “Table” back where it belongs;
It is great to see the work back in Dover close to where it was created – it already looks to be integrating into its new environment as the footpath close by provides many possibilities for the audience to engage with the work – the sculpture has a great deal of history for many members of the community as the timbers that are built into the work are from significant buildings in the town which were undergoing demolition. We have recycled these timbers into the structure of our work. Skulptūrai ir arī laika kapsula, kas iestrādāta struktūrā.
