Pencester Gardens came alive on 30th July with World in a Tent — a joyful afternoon of global rhythm, movement, and community spirit.
Kicking off with a gentle Tai Chi warm-up at 12.30pm, the event unfolded into a showcase of cultural workshops: Salsa with Andee Fitness, high-energy Bhangra drumming with Prakash, Bollywood dancing with Sandhya, Samba rhythms led by Siemy, and elegant Chinese ribbon and fan dancing with Elisa.
üzerinde 250 people visited throughout the afternoon, with many dancing, drumming, or spectating in the sunshine. At the pavilion around 25 participants actively took part in the Bhangra and Samba sessions alone, with the rest joining in across the park or cheering from around the gardens.
The event offered something for everyone — whether you were moved by the beat or just moved your feet.
