On Saturday, 7 октября, 2023, distinguished members of the Cinque Ports Confederation, esteemed dignitaries, and their guests joined in for the Speakers Day Procession. This ceremonial event provided a warm welcome from The Right Worshipful The Town Mayor of Dover and Speaker of the Cinque Ports, Командир Сьюзен Джонс, leading into a procession from Market Square to the Dover Marina Pier; followed by a Speakers Day oration from the Reverend Catherine Tucker, Mayor’s Chaplain to lay recognition to the sea and its’ historical importance for the Cinque Ports Confederation. Lastly presented with the Port of Dover Tugs in the Harbour.
