This commissioned artwork will serve as a seasonal focal point for the community, bringing visual impact and festive atmosphere to the heart of the town. The Council seeks an installation that is artistically ambitious, structurally resilient, and free-standing, suitable for outdoor presentation over several weeks. Project Scope The commission includes: Design and fabrication of large, 3D star or light-based shapes, with high visual impact and artistic quality; Supply, delivery, and installation of all structural and lighting elements; Installation and removal at the Memorial Garden site (CT16 postcode); Provision of risk assessments, public liability insurance, and full compliance with health and safety requirements. The artwork must be: Freestanding and structurally safe for outdoor winter conditions; Visible and accessible to the public during both daylight and night-time hours; Delivered within the agreed timeframe, expected between November 2025 and January 2026.
