Pe 8 Mai 2025, Consiliul municipal al Dover va marca 80 de ani de la VE Day, Sărbătorind 80 years of peace since the end of World War II in Europe. Join us as we remember the Allied forces who served on VE-Day and helped secure the peace we enjoy today. At 9:30p.m, Dover Town’s Beacon, along with one thousand other beacons and Lamp Lights of Peace, will shine throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, with the flames representing the ‘light of peace.
