עַל 8 מאי 2025, מועצת העיר דובר תציין 80 שנה ליום VE, חוגג 80 years of peace since the end of World War II in Europe. Join us as we remember the Allied forces who served on VE-Day and helped secure the peace we enjoy today. At 9:30אחר הצהריים, Dover Town’s Beacon, along with one thousand other beacons and Lamp Lights of Peace, will shine throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, with the flames representing the ‘light of peace.
