VE Day, 80th Anniversary – 8th May 2025 Marina Curve Programme and Live Stream
On 8 May 2025, Dover Town Council will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, celebrating 80 years of peace since the end of World War II in Europe. Join us as we remember the Allied forces who served on VE-Day and helped secure the peace we enjoy today. At 9:30pm, Dover Town’s Beacon, along with one thousand other beacons and Lamp Lights of Peace, will shine throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, with the flames representing the ‘light of peace.
