Talking Shop est un programme de participation communautaire et d'enquête. Plutôt que d'attendre que tout le monde vienne dans un bureau étouffant, the Talking Shop team will be visiting locations across Dover to speak directly with residents, visiteurs, community groups and local businesses.
The aim is simple: to make it easier for people to tell us what matters to them and what they would like to see happening in their local community.

Sessions will take place between 10.00am and 3.00pm, with times varying by location.

What can you talk to us about?
Talking Shop is open to a broad range of local views and ideas. You may want to discuss:
- local projects and community activities;
- public spaces and improvements around Dover;
- events, wellbeing and opportunities for residents;
- issues affecting your neighbourhood;
- services or priorities you believe should receive more attention;
- ideas that could make Dover a better place to live, travail et visite.
Why your response matters
Local knowledge is essential when decisions are being made about projects, activities and community priorities. The people who live, work and spend time in Dover often have the clearest understanding of what is working well and where improvements may be needed.
Responses gathered through Talking Shop will help local government identify common themes, understand local priorities and make better-informed decisions about future work.
