Gallery Update: Samphire Multicultural Festival
A new update has been added to the Engagements Gallery for the Samphire Multicultural Festival, which took place on Saturday 20th June 2026 in Pencester Gardens.
The update includes photographs from the festival, which was joined by the Right Worshipful Town Mayor of Dover, the Deputy Mayor of Dover and Town Councillors. The festival brought together Dover’s diverse communities to celebrate culture, music, food, dance, art and shared community life.
As part of the celebrations, the Town Mayor delivered a speech to visitors, recognising the importance of inclusion, diversity and the many communities which help make Dover a vibrant and welcoming town.
Samphire Multicultural Festival

The Samphire Multicultural Festival took place on Saturday 20th June 2026 in Pencester Gardens, bringing together Dover’s diverse communities for a day of celebration, learning and shared experience.
Samphire’s Multicultural Festival aims to bring the diverse communities of Dover together to celebrate and explore diversity. Showcasing the rich variety of cultures which make up Dover, the festival gave people the chance to hear new music, try new foods, enjoy dance and art, and learn more about other cultures.
The Right Worshipful Town Mayor of Dover, the Deputy Mayor and Town Councillors joined the celebrations, meeting visitors and taking part in the occasion. As part of the event, the Town Mayor delivered a speech to visitors, highlighting the importance of community, inclusion and celebrating the diversity which helps make Dover such a vibrant town.
