多佛鎮議會透過一年一度的市長任命儀式標誌著新的公民年的開始, held at the Maison Dieu on 18五月 2026.
儀式上, Cllr Bekah Dawes was appointed as the new 多佛市長, 和 Cllr Janet Kember appointed as 副市長.
The Mayor Making ceremony is an important occasion in Dover’s civic calendar, bringing together councillors, guests, community representatives and leaders from local organisations to recognise the role of the Mayor and the continued work of the Town Council in supporting the town.
遵循正式程序, guests attended a reception at the Maison Dieu, providing an opportunity to meet the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor, reflect on the year ahead, and celebrate the partnerships that help support Dover’s community life.
Dover Town Council looks forward to working with Cllr Dawes and Cllr Kember during the 2026/27 civic year.
