We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Anthony Hawkings MBE, he was installed as Honorary Freeperson for Dover Town Council on 29th May 2024, ഹ്രസ്വ രോഗത്തിന് ശേഷം അടുത്തിടെ കടന്നുപോയി. Our condolences go out to Anthony’s family, സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ, ഈ പ്രയാസകരമായ സമയത്ത് സഹപ്രവർത്തകർ.
Tony Hawkins awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 1998 in recognition of his many years of dedicated service to the RNLI. The following year he retired as a lifeboat man but was still actively involved in supporting the work of Dover’s Lifeboat Station.
In addition to the MBE Tony, had received many awards, letters of thanks and recognition for his volunteering work for the RNLI and from other organisations that he has assisted over the years.
