多佛冬季点亮 (NEW DATE)

Dover Town Council and Future Foundry are sad to announce that Dover’s Winter Light Up will be postponed due to Storm Darragh forecast to reach Dover this weekend. All festivities, activities and the lantern procession which were to be taking place on Saturday 7th of December are on hold until February 8th 2025.
We have been very lucky over the past 4 years to have had perfect conditions for Dover’s Winter Light Up. However with 60mph gusts predicted on Saturday, it will not be possible to run the event safely.
The great news is that Dover’s Winter Light Up has been rescheduled for Saturday the 8th of February. It will be a festival of light when we need it most – at the end of winter just before the first signs of spring. We will be offering all the enchanting activities we had planned for this weekend, with circus performances, cabaret, music, rides, markets, workshops and Future Foundry’s magical lantern procession – all just in time for the start of spring.
In the meantime stay safe during Storm Darragh and we wish you a wonderful festive, winter season.

晚间娱乐活动和灯笼游行 (自由的):
此次活动的一大亮点是 灯笼游行, 由未来铸造厂领导, 以星星灯笼和受肯特野生动物启发的大型设计为特色, 由当地艺术家和学童共同创作. 游客还可以欣赏到令人眼花缭乱的 火灾行为, LED表演, 夜光表演, 并乘坐迷人的模拟器 雪人.
在 集市广场, 欣赏精美的装饰 圣诞树, 以多佛城堡的标志性背景为背景, 和 发光的雄鹿 在美美家德迪厄. 下午 3 点开始, 潘斯福雷斯特花园 将举办节日市场，展示当地制造商的独特创意, 艺术家, Forge 艺术俱乐部和独立企业. 不要错过位于彭塞斯特花园 (Pencester Gardens) 的 69MCC Club 装饰自行车展.
