Explore opportunities on your doorstep

More than 30 employers, volunteer groups, recruitment agencies and skills-support organisations are expected to attend, bringing a wide range of opportunities together in the heart of Dover.

Visitors can speak directly with organisations about local vacancies, apprenticeships, volunteering, training courses, career pathways and ways to develop new skills.

Whether you are taking your first steps into employment, returning to work, thinking about changing career or simply want to find out what opportunities are available locally, the fair provides an opportunity to have those conversations face to face.

Who will be there?

Organisations confirmed by Dover District Council include the Port of Dover, Briggs Marine, Veolia, Kent Police, the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, British Army, Viking Recruitment, English Heritage Volunteering, Kent Coast Volunteering, East Kent College, Dover Big Local and Future Skills, with further organisations expected.

Back in the heart of Dover

This year’s fair also offers another reason to step inside the newly restored Maison Dieu. One of Dover’s most significant historic buildings is once again playing an active role in the life of the town – bringing people, organisations and opportunities together under one roof.
